An annotated view of Cascades Range from Seattle

An annotated view of Seattle on a cold and snowy morning of December 28, 2021 just after sunrise. Photograph was taken with a telephoto lens (210mm) from front door from Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. Big Four dominates on the left. Glacier Peak on the right. In between are several peaks near Monte Cristo Washington. Conifers from Seattle's Washington Park Arboretum are in the foreground. The suburbs of Kirkland and Bellevue are in the mid-ground. Seattle does not get snow frequently, maybe once or twice a winter. Typically the snow sticks around a day or two. This snowfall was followed by a deep freeze, so the snow has stuck around a little longer.
