Sorry for the delay. I have amended the title to include the location. The young man is the son of accomplished Russian climber Aleksander Eliseev. The three of us climbed Elbrus from the SW last summer. It was a nice route and I don't see it listed as a route on the Elbrus mountain page. My trip report should be up in a few days.
