Hi Guido, you remember all the rains we got just before the end of 2010. Right after the rains we headed for Zion. I think these photos were taken on Dec 29th or the 30th of 2010.
Lots of ice and snow covered roads in Utah at that time!

They should have named it "Devil's Landing."

Except in winter, when the snow can soften
the blow in case you experience a fall.

Considering the large number of people who have died on the way to or on return from Angels Landing, I have to agree with you Larry, they could have called it Devil's Landing.
