Annapurna I

Annapurna is not only a single mountain, but whole mountain range, where more mountains named Annapurna can be found. Annapurna I is the most famous one because it is the one and only Annapurna reaching over 8000 meters (8091 meters above sea level). Also Annapurna I is the first ever 8000 meter mountain conquered and surprisingly has the scariest death rate among all 8-thousanders. Even worse than K2. Photo is taken from Annapurna base camp at elevation of 4130 meters. It means that the mountain face pictured is almost 4 kilometers tall.
