that view...I have also heard that a 10 minute walk north from the summit will bring you to the rim of the peak and you can see pretty much all of So. Utah.

Re: that view...I've heard that too but it was so cold that we just wanted to get lower where it was warm. We probably had a below zero wind chill factor on the summit.

(and even people enjoying a two-hour hike),
very quick and accurate decisions must be
made. You apparently made the right one,
because you avoided getting frostbite or
