Antz Basin...... has got to be one of my all time favorite places to be. I simply love it. But when did they change it from "ants" to "antz"?

Re: Antz Basin...I gotta agree, it’s a must see. The USGS's Board on Geographic Names (BGN) approved the change from "Ants Basin" to "Antz Basin" in June 2007 (see page 39 of this document). I guess the area was supposed to have been named after Eugen Antz, an early prospector in the area.
