Apikuni boulder field

The area between Windy Creek and Apikuni Creek at the base of Apikuni Mountain is strewn with a massive amount of boulders. The terrain is quite similar underneath the north face of Wynn Mountain, which is on the left skyline across the valley and above Sherburne Reservoir. A ridge from Wynn leads back and to the right to Cracker Peak and Mount Siyeh, which appear rather small from this vantage point due to the shadowy bulk of Allen Mountain (near center). To the right, Swiftcurrent Lake (front) and Lake Josephine (back) lead up the valley towards impressive Mount Gould (right skyline). August 28, 2013
