Approach to Mt. Conness, North Ridge

12-August-2006 : We started up from the last Conness Lake to the North Ridge of Mt. Conness by following a use trail to the scree and talus just below North Peak (shown roughly in red).
This gains a little extra elevation above the col, but going straight up to the col from the lake looked cliffy, and we could see a pretty large moat in the snow below it.
