Approach to Gemstone area climbs - at this point look to the south side of the canyon. You will see some cut trees, go straight up. There will be a faint trail. Do not follow the trail along the creek anymore. It leads to the Upper La Cueva canyon.

Hi Dow.. the guy I climbed with tried to bolder it up, but then he gave up and walked around and climbed on the roof from the other side...

Hi Eric, it is pretty stable. You can walk around and scramble to its top.
