approaching Eagle Plume
By following the long, broad ridge westward from Mad Wolf Mountain, the base of Eagle Plume Mountain can be reached in about an hour. The ridge becomes rockier as you gain elevation, but it's a straightforward scramble up to the summit.
In the left background, Running Crane Lake sits underneath Red Mountain at the head of the Lake Creek drainage.
