I love your photos of Quiva but my slopes from a camp at 17,000 feet were not as easy as yours?
A mini-icefall blocked the normal route to the summit.
Sadly, I turned back after trying a traverse to the right hand ridge. Loose scree too tiring. I'll be back next year.
I explored Mt. Chani 5930 m. from village of Leon, 24 klm from Jujuy. An easy climb via south west ridge; problem is water higher up the mountain. Very dry and hot sun.
