Approaching the Bolam Camp

March 26, 2010 - The final slope of soft snow climbed to reach our camp, which we reached by heading directly through the rocks and into a protected bend in a shallow gully beyond. 5 hours to cover the 8 miles and 4,000 ft to get here from the car with 50lb packs in soft snow and windy weather above treeline.
