Arbengratt - traverse Wellenkuppe - Rothornhut
Day 1 we hiked to the Arbenbivak. Last meters are a bit of a klettersteig. Great bivak. One of the best in the alps. In the morning some tough routefinding. Tip: check it the day before.
The ridge itself is great solid rock..genussklettern!
Conditions down to Wellenkuppe were difficult. Many abseils...the routefinding down from Wellenkuppe isn't very easy. Very loose in the flanks... Down over the Glacier to the Rothornhut were more crevasses than I did remember from my trip to the Wellenkuppe (years ago). Because of the dry winter and summer.. All in all a tour to remember!
