Very good, very detailed. New summitposters can take an example from pages like this.

These are the home mountains of R. Messner so it is fitting that they have complete and well done page.

Thanks Mark, you wouldn't beleive how many routes have been established by the Messners in this area. When I prepared the page I couldn't help noticing....

Wonderful, very descriptive page. All the needed information is here. Congratulations, Gangolf! The 'great plan' of covering the whole Dolomites is going well.

Thanks Vid! It's amazing how much you can accumulate and there is still not everything there! But I'll keep posting a couple of new sections these days.

Glad you liked it, Morgan. But yes, you should have read it before - it might have helped you feeling not quite as overwhelmed ;-) One of the drawbacks of SP is that you cannot really apreciate the pages unless you know the region. But now that you've been there you can do it like Mathias Zehring did, when I posted the page: grab a map, a glass of good wine and enjoy your reminiscences (I shouldn't use words I don't know how to write!!!).

For me the real fun is that this page - and the one on the Sexten Dolomites have inspired two of my colleagues to spend their vacations there. So you might call me the onofficial DTB (Dolomite Tourism Board) in addition to the unofficial STB (Sardinian Tourism Board) and CTB (Corsican Tourism Board).

It's fun and I enjoy it!

Cheers

Morgan, I think you're the one who creates mountain groups. Could you have a look at the respective thread? I'm at 16 mountains for Sardinia already and would appreciate a group very much. You have just been on vacation too long...

Just kidding, of course.
