As we approached the summit...

As we approached the summit we could see that we were in a race with the weather. This is how the approaching storm looked just before we were obliged to get outta there!

Indeed it did! It was too bad that we had to stay for such a short time at Colorado's highpoint and the 48 states' 2nd highest point. Happily that storm slipped by south of our retreat ridge!
