Towards Cathedral and Budd Lake

The cross country approach to Matthes Crest is a beautiful hike passing some of the best terrain in Tuolumne. After soloing the S -> N traverse, Peter is heading towards Cathedral Peak and the trailhead. The awesome exposure of the route is clearly visible in the background.
