Avalanche

Here is a photo of an avalanche that I rode down a mountain. I climbed a chute to ski down, and was standing at the top of the chute warming my hands when it happened. I saw cracks form, and suddenly I was riding an avalanche down the chute. I swam upwards as hard as I could, and fortunately the avalanche ran out from under me, and left me sitting high and dry in the chute. That's when I took this photo.
