Way Cool
What a fun introduction to Linville Gorge - and what a stunning view! Tried several of the summits before finding the real one, then went down to the wild river. I would never have heard about this without summitpost.

One of My New Favorites
This summit alone will keep me going back to Linville Gorge. It was a fun scramble/bushwhack to the summit. The views from the top were spectacular. As good as any I've seen in the southeast. And it sure helped that we had the place all to ourselves.
This was the first stop on our "Eastern Rim2Rim2Rim" hike in the Gorge. After hitting Babel Tower we continued onto Spence Ridge, to Little Table Rock Trail and up to Table Rock. We came down Spence Ridge and back out Babel Tower Trail. A really tough but awesome day.
