BALD EAGLES: PARENT & JUVENILE
Having passed through the eaglet stage and the fledgling stage this young eagle is considered ‘fledged’ according to The American Bald Eagle Information site. This juvenile is very recently out of the nest and still on a steep learning curve, how to fly, how to land (very important), how to hunt and more. As the summer progresses the contact with the parent(usually the female) will taper off, although the female will occasionally feed the offspring into the first winter.
