Ski Hut Tr.

I used to LOVE the Ski Hut Trail to Baldy. Last time I did it, we crossed San Antonio Cr. at about 8300 ft only to encounter two very large Pacific rattlers! It was shocking, because the usual limit for them is 6000 ft or so. The highest I've seen one was on Dawson at the 9100 ft level on the west slope; I stepped on a log and he was on the other side of it!
