Grunt of a ridge
This spring was my 5th time on the steep and relentless ridge from Palisades Creek. Luckily there was snow on the upper third of the route which while steep is better than the rocky loose terrain it is when it is melted. Just a knee workout and I felt it for a couple of days after. I once saw motorcycle tracks all the way up the ridge. I thing they rode down the ridge, it was impressive that someone was crazy enough to do it. Always a huge mountain of lady bugs on the summit cairn.
