Baron Creek Valley

Baron Creek Valley Pano, Grandjean Trailhead August 2008. This was the first 'real' hike my little brother had ever been on with me. Took us approximately 12 hours to hike to Baron Lake. This particular shot is from the next morning on the way back down, which was certainly more refreshing to hit the open talus field in the morning going down than it did in the afternoon on the way coming up the previous day. (Note: You can see the falls in the lower left hiding in the shadows.)
