What? No fair!!!All the beaver ponds I have hiked past and I have NEVER, ONCE seen one of these!
I am convinced that a) beavers and b) javelinas are both mythical creatures. Like BigFoot, or the loch ness monster...

Re: What? No fair!!!This is the 1st beaver I have ever found at his home...in fact there were 2 of the things. They are HUGE. About the size of a large dog. They also have an attitude about you being in sight....they slapped the water for hours.
