This picture was taken May 19, 2013 on the North Kaibab Trail between Phantom Ranch and Cottonwood Camp. This is an example of a patch where multiple blooms are present, and some buds have yet to bloom. This patch was found North of the narrows portion of the trail, in the open plain.
