Belay at top of Hide-a-way chimney vedauwoo

Belaying at the top of Hide-a way chimney at the Vedauwoo, Wyoming about 1977. The Vedauwoo area is ancient granite with big coarse crystals and is 20 minutes from the University of Wyoming. We took climbing 101, etc as gym option courses. Typical starving student wear for day was blue jeans and cotton shirts. That is a used goldline rope bought for $25 and the guy assured me that he had never taken a "big" fall on it. The white leather roper gloves were leftover from the farm/ranch.
