Below Pacific Peak

My friend Jake after summiting Pacific Peak (in background). We had returned to the Pacific/Crystal saddle (out of view to the right) from Pacific and descended into the basin directly below Pacific at the head of the Spruce Creek basin. The head of the basin appears to have some permanent snow - stable enough for us to walk along in mid-August rather than boulder hopping along side. The north couloir is quite obvious in the background - this is a great snow climb when in condition.
