Between Plaza de Mulas and...
Between Plaza de Mulas and Confluencia, some very interesting geology is encountered, such as the multi-colored, stratefied rock face seen here. The very distinct bands of green, red, and yellow are very common in the Aconcagua region. For more info see my Aconcagua Traverse trip report.
