finding unusual adventures

I'm so glad that a tale of Peshastin (was Martin talking about the sad fall of Trigger Finger - I think it happened before either of us were climbers) provided a trigger for adventure close to home. Is it legal in Germany to listen to headphones while driving? I have been tempted to listen to my iPod that way too, but was sure the police would mark me. Maybe I just need "flesh"-colored headphones :-p.

Is it leagal? Don't know - I only use the iPod when I forget to load new CDs. But anyway - returning from that particular outing I smashed my car on the motorway just meters from home - I dropped asleep for a second. Maybe I should have had headphones blasting me out of my sleep

Re: finding unusual adventures

Argh, how sad! I'll share one...a month after our twins were born I got a "morning pass" to hike up Mount Si. A woman on the highway ran into my car from behind. Me and the car limped home, attempt for mountain fun foiled...:(
