Big Elk Mountain

Big Elk Mountain in Idaho from the top of Ferry Peak, October 2009. You can see some of the many terraces cut into the face of the peak to help deter the erosion from too much sheep overgrazing. The terraces were cut by bulldozers in the 1960's and 70's.
