Birkenhead and Microwave

Birkenhead Peak (left) and Microwave Ridge (right), as seen from southeast of those peaks along the Pemberton Portage Road. Although Birkenhead Peak appears to have a lower elevation than Microwave Ridge in this photo, that is purely due to the angle and perspective of this specific view from below those peaks. In reality, the true summit of Birkenhead Peak (8222') is approximately 630' higher than Microwave Ridge (7592'). In fact, the true summit of Birkenhead Peak is actually hidden from view in this photo, but even the hilltop seen in this photo is still approximately 480' higher than Microwave Ridge.
