Bivy Spot

Bivy Spot

At 7000 feet, 25 mph wind plus a temperature of 22 degrees kept me awake most of the night in this bivy spot near Lake Augusta. May 18, 2012.

Well

22 farenheit = around -5°C in celsius, yeap, that is cold. Very common temp in Brazilian mountains, average cold.
Eventually when a cold air mass comes around from Patagonia it can get as low as -10°C/ -12°C, but that's it. The record for my country is -17°C. And that is freezing cold...
Anyway, cool temp to sleep outside, I love it!
