"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Sublime viewI'm going to use the Sierra Club guideline that summit blocks are optional... since I stopped 20 feet from the top due to realizing that coming back down the narrow ledge-steps would be too risky in my solo, tired state. Burro Lake was absolutely incredible to behold, though. Went on to summit Peak 11,568.

South FaceFollowing the boring slog to Excelsior and Slate Ridge, a Class 3 climb up the south face kept me interested - best peak of the day. Hit up a snowfield off Dunderberg later to complete my 12-month ski challenge - fun day.

Cat ScanI climbed both ears, after climbing nearby Peak 11568. It seemed to me that the western ear is higher. I enjoyed scanning the views up there.
