The Black Mts look sweet. I grew up in southern Ohio so the southern Appalachians were my playground. Most of my time was spent in the Smokies but I always wanted to check out the Black Mountains. This page (along with some of the individual mountain pages) has renewed my interest in this area. Nice job!
You need to do some hiking in the Blacks. There are some great trails in there. If you're up to the challenge, I highly recommend the Black Mountain Crest Trail. If you can arrange a car shuttle, it's a wonderful two-day trip from the summit of Mitchell down to Bolen's Creek, or the other way 'round.
