Black Petaltail on Yocum Ridge

Literally at the melt-out line on Yocum Ridge. Was kind enough to light a few feet away when I already had a tripod set up. This is apparently from the most ancient of dragonfly clads, and the only surviving species in western North America. Tanypteryx hageni. August 2, 2002. Edited to correct location (approximate).
