Black Vulture

There are only 1500 pairs of Black Vulture (Aegypius monachus) in Spain, one of them was flying over Risco de las Morrillas, Macizo Central de Gredos. I was so impressed, I had never seen black vultures so close. 3 March 2007.

Not much but this one should be large. It measures from 234 to 277 cm wingspan.
