Blackerby Fire

The Blackerby Fire burned 5,000 acres in the foothills of the Clearwater Mountains in August and September 2005. The fire threatened about 100 homes and was the national #1 priority fire for about a week. Fortunately only one outbuilding was lost. This picture was taken from Grangeville, ID. August 2005
