Summit work in progress  Sucess!

Parked at the 6620' saddle to camp and enjoy the evening views. Hiked the road the next morning and wandered around the summit to find the bench mark (near a new foundation near the south end). There is a lot of work being done on the summit (new foundations) and the road may now be more passable than previously (though still narrow with very few pullout options).

Rough Road  Sucess!

The road to the summit is definitely a 4x4 road! Pretty slow in slow sections.

Oregon P2K #26  Sucess!

With the road snowed in I used another 4x4 road that got me to the east base of the mountain, from there it was a mere 1800 feet up the face to the summit. Up in 90 minutes, down in 40. Great views of southeast oregon, the owyhee range in Idaho, and the Santa Rosa range across the border in nevada.
