The pink ribbon denotes the highest spot of Blacktail Butte. Yes, I'm saying that this is the "summit" area but the trees cover the mountain so well that you do not get a "summit" feel. Bob Bolton is double checking the coordinates and elevation. Blacktail Butte is in Eastern Washington. The reason for posting this pic is to just note that while Bob and I have done some terrific summits together (Mt. Shasta to mention one), we have also had our share of these less than exciting ones but they are still fun to "track" down. Sep 1 2007
