Bossons and Taconnaz glaciers fall from the North slopes of Mont Blanc over Chamonix Valley. On the left, Montagne de la Côte, where gîte (bivouac) à Balmat (first at Mont Blanc summit with Paccard on 1786) is found. August 2001.
