Thanks to EricNoel for finding this map. It shows the trail that traverses the ridge but interestingly enough, the trail never goes to the summit. That is what we found to be true.

I found a way trail that branched off from the ridge trail near that saddle NE of the summit. There was wet snow blowing sideways at 40 mph so it was nice to have something to follow.

Yes, Bob Burd mentioned that trail under comments he left in the comment section.
It wasn't there when Bob & I visited but nice to know it is there now.
