Brazos Cliffs

Brazos Cliffs

The Brazos Cliffs are the tallest in New Mexico. With approximately 3,000 feet of vertical face, the escarpment is an impressive sight. The typical 2,000 foot routes require 10 to 17 pitches to complete a climb. However, they are located on private property, and with the death of the former owner, access is questionable. You can learn more about them by visiting the Los Alamos Mountaineers website here. Imaged in June 2011.
