Brian Decker trying to make...

Brian Decker trying to make sense of the moves leading up to the crux on pitch 5 of Mt. Goode's North Buttress. And yes, it is every bit as steep as it looks. June 19, 2005.

Re: good job

That's one wild looking pitch Steve!

Re: good job

It *is* wild! Darn near vertical, and very exposed. Easier than it looks, though. I was a bit worried about getting past the overhang, but the holds are all there. You just have to keep moving.

Awsome!

Love that shot. Makes me want to try that route (unfortunately Sierras are kinda far for us).

Nice TR too.

Re: Awsome!

Thanks Radek,

I feel about the same when I read about your exploits and drool over the pictures. Gorgeous stuff, but too far for a weekend trip. Oh well, some day I'll get out of California.

Re: Awsome!

Thanks Steve.

Can't beat the weather you guys enjoy down there though (no endless rainy spells of Pac. NW; no PM thunderstorms of the Rockies; no endless heat spells of Utah - OK, I can put up with those :)
