Bridges' Cliff-brake (Pellaea bridgesii)

This fern is generally found on open rocky slopes in the Sierras, but it is also disjunct in northeast Oregon and central Idaho. The blueish color is from a waxey coating. This photo was taken near Slab Butte, Idaho. October 2005.
