Bright Angel suspension...

Bright Angel suspension bridge over the Colorado River about a mile from Phantom Ranch. This is taken from the south side of the river. There are actually two bridges. The bridge in the background is the end of the South Kaibab Trail and is the one the mules use. The mules refuse to cross the bridge in the foreground because the bridge planks are intermittent and they can see the river through the planks.
