Bright Angel Trail

The beautiful Grand Canyon and its Bright Angel Trail, on 23 December 2009. The Bright Angel Trail is the most popular trail in the entire canyon, but it's one I enjoy hiking again and again. I have hiked it over 40 times, and it's always different, every time. This day was no exception, with all that beautiful fresh snow, just a few hours after a storm had passed. On this hike, the snow extended down to about the Three-Mile Resthouse, at around elevation 4750 feet.
