Very NiceGlad to see the conditions. I got a trip planned to do the Nankoweap in January. I believe I'll take crampons. I just hope the reliable winter access works out.

Re: Very NiceI've never tried to access the N Rim in the winter. It's my understanding that the snow is not removed from AZ67, and skiing is the only way in. Is that true?

Re: Very NiceYou can access the Nankoweap trail from House Rock Valley during the winter. It is a forty mile trip down a dirt road. It is a three mile hike to the trail head.
As far as I know, this is the only trail on the N. Rim with winter access. I have previously done a RRR before the N. Side opens.
