This time from the east. Although the peak has a reputation for wind, there was barely a breeze. Cool temperatures made the climb a pleasure.
First Brown, then a trip over to Eagle. Great double.
Day 2 of a 4 day trip. We climbed Eagle Peak in the morning, then Brown Peak in the afternoon. We finished at 3:30pm and it was already down to 26 degrees. Cold night!
I had to make the longer approach from the east without a high clearance vehicle. Gave me a chance to tag nearby Peak 4,830ft as well. Trip Report.
A very fun 4 day solo trip. The geodes and agate on Brown Peak are pretty cool.
