Buck Mountain GPS anno

On August 12, 2007 I returned to Buck Mountain (five years after my initial visit to the north summit only). This time I traveled with a GPS. The middle summit is definitely higher than the north summit (both in GPS reading and in visual observation). However, the south summit is quite a bit higher than the 8360+ feet shown on the map. It is approximatetly 8500-8520 feet. I climbed up to the notch on the right skyline and measured 8420 feet there on my GPS. I was still a good 80-100 feet from the top.
