Buck Mountain (NV)

Buck Mountain has over two thousand feet of Prominence and is off of highway 50 as you head for Eureka from Ely. It was the 5th summit we visited during our trip to Nevada and as was the case with the other 4, it wasn't on our original agenda (the weather). After Buck, Ken and I continued on to do Prospect Mountain near Eureka (normally a drive up but we had to hike up about a thousand feet due to snow blocking the road). 5-30-10
