Burgundy Spire

Burgundy Spire

Burgundy Spire (west face) from our camp at a "bench" at ~6400 feet. Paisano Pinnacle is also clearly visible in foreground though it tends to blend in with the taller Burgundy (July 15, 2006).

Did you think about

trying the Paisano W.B. / Burgundy N.F. linkup? I belive that is IV 5.9, per the Kearney Guide.

Re: Did you think about

Yeah - it's a nice looking line but Burgundy was not on our itinerary when we set out (all we had was partial N&P description for N. Face ONLY). This way you replace the initial ~400 feet of chossy 4th-low 5th climbing on N. Face route with quality stuff on Paisano I think.
